Starting a home church is an adventure with the Holy Spirit. The apostle Paul started many home churches and he took responsibility in overseeing them, making sure they were not losing their salvation. The church gatherings were not just nice gatherings where you would leave the same as you came. By surrendering the gathering to the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit would minister to every individual in a personal and powerful way. People would be saved, delivered, healed and transformed.
Hosting His Presence
Starting a home means trusting the Holy Spirit. Although preparations for the gatherings are good, do not be afraid to move beyond the program, as the Holy Spirit likes to surprise us. If you have scheduled your meetings and invited some people, do not be disappointed if no one, or only few show up. You are going to have an amazing time in the presence of the Father anyways.
Telling about His Presence
To know Jesus, is eternal life (John 17:3). As it is the best thing that can ever happen to you, we want everyone to know Jesus. Therefore, evangelism in our daily lives is simply a result of our love for Jesus. We enter in a ripe harvest where our hearts are moved for the lost, poor and needy, because we carry the heart of the Father.
