Get Connected
The church is the body of Christ. When believers unite, listen and act upon the Holy Spirit the body of Christ is formed. Imagine: Jesus being embodied all over the earth and in your house. When Jesus was in someone’s house, it often didn’t take long before the place was packed with people.
Embodiment
The embodiment of Christ means the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirt are present. It is where the unbeliever that comes can feel the scars in the hands of the risen Christ. We read about this in Paul's letter to the home church of Corinthians: 1 Cor 14:24-25
‘But if an unbeliever or uninstructed person comes in while everyone is prophesying, he will be convicted and called to account by all, and the secrets of his heart will be made known. So he will fall facedown and worship God, proclaiming, “God is truly among you!’’
Labourers
The harvest has not changed over the years, nor did God. We are going to see greater things. But we need labourers: people who start home churches. Paul says he has laboured more than all the other apostles: he birthed many home churches during his time on earth.
Events
Impartation
The fellowship of different home churches allows for refreshment and impartation of spiritual giftings. People of all ages can find divine connections, building up the body of believers and making way for the Kingdom of God on this earth.
Acts 2:43-47
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
When you start and / or connect your home church to the Home Church Initiative we would love to help you. ‘Deo Volente’ there will be regular events where home churches can connect and new home church leaders can be equipped for ministry. Aiming to build the Kingdom in every area of society: filling farms, schools, businesses, media, cities, stadiums and nations with the presence of Jesus.
